Damage Criteria

Before shipping each book, we carefully assess to make sure it’s in a suitable condition. However, we know that things can happen, and books can arrive damaged. If you receive a damaged book, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we’ll organise a replacement or in cases where a replacement is unavailable, remedy the situation.

You’ll need to send us photos so we can assess. Please review the damage criteria below before getting in touch.

Please note: The above criteria are for guidance only, and each case will be reviewed individually. Replacements will be at our discretion. It’s important to note that different materials and processes used during manufacturing can have variations that are typical and don’t apply as damage. For example, darker covers are more prone to light scratches, and sprayed edges may show variations and shelf wear.

In some cases, we may request that you alter the damaged book (e.g., marking or cutting the cover) and provide proof before a replacement is sent. This ensures damaged copies aren’t resold unfairly. If we identify misuse of our replacement policy (e.g., for resale purposes), we reserve the right to decline future replacement requests or take appropriate action.
